It is our desire, in this section, to provide suggestions as well as guidelines for choosing attire which will be comfortable as well as pleasing to God. Please keep in mind that the majority of the daytime hours in Walker County, are extremely hot. All persons who attend should be able to be comfortable in the heat. Clothing should be lightweight and loose--fitting. However, modesty, in the true meaning of the word, is an absolute necessity for all—we do not wish to offend our brothers and sisters of any age.
Please help your family members select suitable clothing in keeping with our Guidelines below and also make any friends you bring aware of them. These requirements apply to all students, volunteers and parents.
Note: Due to the location, girls will not be required to wear dresses at the night assemblies, except for the closing assembly on Friday night.
Please do not bring shirts or blouses, or any other articles of clothing bearing unsuitable slogans or pictures. These guidelines are important to minimize conflicts, maximize comfort and well- being, and appear attractive before one another and before God as we praise and worship Him during this week of song. IF IN DOUBT, please leave it at home.
All food and snacks will be provided. Unless needed for medical reasons, please leave all food, snacks, etc... at home.
Suggested items to bring: PLEASE MARK ALL YOUR BELONGINGS!!!
Please leave all Musical Instruments, MP3 Players and iPods, Magazines, Comic Books, Cards, Hand Held Electronic Games, etc. at home.
